Water stained; 50-55 degrees; 7’ high.
Black bass - Black Bass have been in high numbers lately, with the spawn coming on they are moving shallow. Males are found scattered out and in small pods. Staging females have been more difficult to find due to the high water. When I have found them they have been isolated in small pods of a few nice fish. My go to baits this time of year are Alabama Rigs, Spinnerbaits, Lipless Crankbaits,Weightless Senkos, and T-Rigged craws/Lizards....

Black bass - have been in great quantity recently with the occasional above average quality size bass around the lake in a lot of areas, both deep on offshore structure and shallow around grass an transitional areas. My primary baits have been Lipless crankbaits, Swimbaits, Square bills, and Spinnerbaits shallow. Deep water I have been having the best success on Crankbaits, Swimbaits, Jigs, Dropshot, and Carolina Rig.... Continue reading
